The Ultimate Search: This Nigerian based reality televisions series has the highest viewership of any program ever in Nigeria. Meerkat was the writer, story editor and psychological manipulator of this series done in conjunction with the ad agency Insight/Grey. The programme is currently in it’s fifth season and attracts a viewership of 55 million people.

Who Killed Johannes Kerkorrel?: A documentary on the life and times of the Afrikaans protest singer. This doccie was critically well received and has been invited to be shown at two international film festivals.

My Big Fat Afrikaner Wedding: A documentary on a traditional Afrikaner wedding shot in a reality format.

Flowers of the Revolution: Meerkat is currently producing a series of three documentaries about unsung women who played a role in the struggle: Nomkhita Mashinini, Ester Barsel and Sophia Williams-de Bruyn.

Punk In Africa: We are shooting a documentary to show the social and political influence of punk music in Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa from the mid-seventies to today.

Jam Sandwich: This successful music/reality/documentary television show is currently going into it’s second season. It takes two high end musicians from different segments of the music industry, forces them together for five days during which time they have to create and record a new song and agree on how to spend their prize money jointly.

Dis Rugby!: This 10.9 AR series looked for South Afgrica’s smartest rugby family as a quiz/gameshow. The programme was the fourth most popular programme on kykNet beaten only by long running programmes like Villa Rosa, Doen met ‘n Miljoen and Kwela.

Durban Poison: This South African/Czech co-production documentary was shown at twelve international film festivals, two European television stations and SABC. It’s about the decay of the first black owned theatre in SouthAfrica
